Verb "to be": am, is, are
We use am, is and are to say who we are, how we feel and where we are from.
Wh-questions with "to be" and prepositions of place
We ask Where? What? Who? and say where things are with in, on, under and next to.
There is / There are and plural nouns
We use there is and there are to say what we can find in a place.
Adjectives before nouns
Adjectives describe people, animals and things: a big dog, a red ball, a happy girl.
Imperatives and "Let's…"
We use imperatives to give instructions and Let's to make suggestions.
Present simple: my day (I, you, we, they)
We use the present simple to talk about things we do every day.
"Can" and "can't" for ability
We use can and can't to talk about what we are able to do.
